2020年第24屆太平洋科學(xué)大會(huì)（Pacific Science Congress，PSC）計(jì)劃將于2020年7月13日至17日在中國(guó)汕頭舉辦。大會(huì)由太平洋科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)與中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)共同主辦，汕頭大學(xué)承辦，會(huì)議主題為“邁向可持續(xù)發(fā)展未來（Towards a Sustainable Future）”，涵蓋科學(xué)實(shí)施對(duì)推進(jìn)2030年聯(lián)合國(guó)可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標(biāo)的作用。大會(huì)將著眼于海洋、環(huán)境、氣候、能源及社會(huì)等領(lǐng)域研究的最新進(jìn)展和應(yīng)用，關(guān)注太平洋地區(qū)的熱點(diǎn)問題，促進(jìn)太平洋地區(qū)的科技合作和傳播。作為主辦方之一的太平洋科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)（Pacific Science Association，PSA）創(chuàng)立于1920年，總部位于美國(guó)夏威夷，與國(guó)際科學(xué)理事會(huì)（ICSU）同為世界上兩大綜合性的科學(xué)組織，中國(guó)是該組織的創(chuàng)始國(guó)之一。大會(huì)每四年一屆且2020年適逢太平洋科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)成立100周年，本屆大會(huì)仍將吸引來自太平洋地區(qū)的眾多領(lǐng)域的科學(xué)家和研究人員，已經(jīng)邀請(qǐng)到美國(guó)加利福尼亞大學(xué)爾灣分校的Mike Clegg教授、美國(guó)斯坦福大學(xué)的Richard N. Zare教授和挪威奧斯陸大學(xué)的Nils C. Stenseth教授三位重量級(jí)主講嘉賓。第24屆太平洋科學(xué)大會(huì)誠(chéng)摯邀請(qǐng)您的參與！

Guidelines for the abstract submission (https://psc2020.net/abstract-guidelines)

Abstract submission should be written in English.

Title:formated in Calibri font style in bold with font size as 22, center alignment, No more than 25 words

Authors:typed as Calibri font style in bold with font size as 12, left alignment.

Affiliation (s):should be typed in Calibri font style with font size as 9, left alignment.

Abstract content:should be typed in Calibri font style with 10 point size, no more than 300 words

Keywords:3-5 words, edited in Calibri font style with 10 point size.

Deadline for Abstract submissions

15 December 2019:Registration and Abstract Submission Open

1 May 2020: Abstract Submission deadline

Abstract review:

Every abstract will undergo a double blind peer-review by Scientific committee members within two to three weeks after its receipt.

Results of the abstract review will be sent to the author within two to three weeks after submission. The Conference Chair serves as the head of the scientific committee and has the final decision on abstracts.

If revision is required, the revised abstract must be sent back within a week.

Please note a single registration permits only one person to attend the conference.

If the co-authors would like to attend the conference their registration and payment is required to be made independently.
